1. What is WELLSTATE Certification?


WELLSTATE is a wellness‑focused certification that assesses how supportive your space is to your physical, emotional, and energetic wellbeing. Using our proprietary assessment standards, properties are scored across six key wellness domains. Depending on purchase type, certified properties earn an official certification, a digital badge, certifcate and tailored insights to help you enhance the wellbeing potential of your space.

 

2. What if my property doesn’t meet the certification score?

No problem! You’ll receive a Wellness Progressive Certificate along with detailed insights and suggestions for improvement. Most properties or spaces only need just a few adjustments to reach full certification. 

 

3. Can I re‑submit my property after making improvements?


Yes! When you’re ready, you can re‑submit your property for a reduced re‑assessment fee. We’ll review your updated information and guide you toward full WELLSTATE certification and badge eligibility.

 

4. What does the certification include?

Depending on your purchase choice, certified properties receive:

  • A digital WELLSTATE Certificate

  • A WELLSTATE Badge (for listings, marketing, or social media)

  • A custom insights report with strengths + improvement tips

  • Marketing tool kit (if applicable)

Wellness Progressive homes receive:

  • A digital Wellness Progressive Certificate

  • A detailed insights guide for future improvements

  • Eligibility for discounted re‑assessment

 

5. Is WELLSTATE only for homeowners?


WELLSTATE is for homeowners, real estate agents, hospitality, businesses, aged-care/childcare facilities, education, developers, architects, interior designers and builders — anyone interested in improving and showcasing the wellness quality of a living space.

6. Can renters apply for WELLSTATE Certification?


WELLSTATE is primarily designed for those who have full control over property decisions.

While renters aren’t eligible for full certification or the official WELLSTATE badge, they can book a consultation to receive a personalised insights guide tailored to what’s within their control. It’s a practical way to create healthier living — even without owning the property.

If you’re renting, you may participate by submitting information about your space, but we recommend obtaining permission from your landlord or property manager before proceeding. This ensures you have approval to share property details or make any changes suggested in your wellness insights.

7. What kinds of properties can be assessed?


WELLSTATE can be applied to a range of property types, including but not limited to:

  • Apartments

  • Townhouses

  • Detached homes

8. Can I certify a property that’s still being designed or built?


Yes! You are still able to certify your property whilst it is still being designed or built. In these cases, additional documentation, like working drawings, orientation plans, landscaping designs and similar will be requested to ensure we capture enough detail to ensure certification assessment criteria. 

 

9. How long does it take to receive my certification?


You’ll receive your results, badge/certificate, and insights within 3–5 business days of submitting your form.

 

10. Can I use my certification to help sell or lease my property?


Absolutely. WELLSTATE certification adds value and credibility by showing potential buyers or renters that the home supports wellness, energy flow, and healthier living, all increasingly in demand.

You’re welcome to showcase your badge in real estate listings, open homes, brochures, or social media.

 

11. Is WELLSTATE backed by science or research?


Yes. WELLSTATE is built on evidence-informed principles from neuroscience, environmental psychology, biophilic design, and wellness architecture.

13. Why is WELLSTATE fully digital? How does it work without a site visit?


WELLSTATE is designed to be accessible, inclusive, and scalable, without compromising integrity.

We assess your property using self-submitted photos, layout information, and key environmental details across six evidence-based domains. This digital model allows anyone, anywhere, to participate. Regardless of location, budget, or ownership.

Your results, certificate, and insights report arrive by email within days. Optional upgrades like enhanced validation or Zoom consultations are available for deeper reviews.

 

14. Can I trust the results if I submit the information myself?


Yes. Our assessments use a structured, benchmarked scoring system, not personal opinion. All submissions are carefully reviewed.

To protect certification integrity, we may revoke or adjust results if false or misleading information is provided. Optional validation upgrades offer extra assurance.

 

15. Can my certification be revoked?


Yes. Certification may be revoked or downgraded if submitted information is false, incomplete, or intentionally misleading.

We rely on community honesty and intention; these safeguards protect WELLSTATE’s value. Reviews and requests for further documentation may occur if concerns arise.

 

16. Can I certify multiple homes or developments?


Yes! We work with developers, designers, and builders to certify multiple dwellings at once.
